Invitation for Expression of Interest

The Central Level Project Implementation Unit (Grant Management and Local Infrastructure,GMaLI), intends that part of the proceeds of credit from World Bank will be applied for hiring Individual Consultants to work atdifferent District Level Project Implementation Unit (DL-PIU). Thus, CL-PIU (GMaLI) invites experienced and interested individual to submit the Expression of Interest (EoI) for supporting the implementation of project activities at district level as mentioned below. The consultantswill be posted and shall work in residence as follows.

The individualswill be selected and engaged under competitive selection method in accordance with the WB's guidelines. The individualswill be evaluated based on qualification, experience and expertise in relevant fields. Based on the evaluation of the EoI, the individuals will be short-listed and out of them only the top ranked individuals will be invited for interview.The EoI must be delivered to CL-PIU (GMaLI), Jwagal, Lalitpur not later than the working hours on  18th October,2019. If the last date of submission of the EoI happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be the last date for submission. The Individuals Consultants must include detail signed CVs including overall experience, qualification certificatesand work-related training certificates. The scanned copy of the EoI with signed CV and other related documentscould also be submitted in pdf format (mandatorily) to the following email address: clpiugmali.eoi@gmail.com. All interested candidates mustsubmit their CV in the prescribed format of CL-PIU (GMaLI).

The consultants shall provide information in accordance with the ToR. The consultant must have the general qualification (education and relevant training(s)), general, specific and regional experiences in the relevant field as mentioned in the ToR. The interested individuals may obtain detailed Terms of Reference (TOR), CV format and further information either at the website of CL-PIU (GMaLI), http://clpiugmali.gov.np

Any subject matter not mentioned above will be guided by the prevailing policies and procedures defined in ‘Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loan and IDA Credits and Grants by World Bank Borrowers”.Further information or clarification on the EoIcan be obtained from the CL-PIU (GMaLI),Jwagal, Lalitpur during the office hours. CL-PIU (GMaLI), reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without giving any reason whatsoever.
